3). What is Workflow?

Salesforce Workflow gives you the ability to automatically:

  • Create and assign tasks

12). What is Data Loader?

Data Loader is stand-alone tool to process bulk records. With Dataloader we can process maximum of 5 million records. Most of the time we use only Dataloader Default batch size of the Dataloader is 200

13). What are Dashboards in Salesforce

Dashboards give you a real-time snapshot of corporate metrics and key performance indicators. A dashboard is a group of different charts or components that graphically display your custom report data.

14).What is difference between WhoId and WhatId in the SFDC Data Model of Task/Events ?

  • WhoID – Lead ID or a Contact ID
  • WhatID – Account ID or an Opportunity ID or Custom Object ID

Provides a simple listing of your data without subtotals

18). What is the difference between public cloud and private cloud? Is salesforce.com is a public cloud or private cloud?

  • Public Cloud: Could services are provided “as a service” over the Internet with little or no control over the underlying technology infrastructure. More than one tenant can use the same resources.
  • Private Cloud: This also offers activities and functions “as a service” but is deployed over a company intranet or hosted datacenter. This is private product for a company or organization offering advance security.
Salesforce.com: Is a public cloud as it is hosted on salesforce.com data centers and data of more than one tenant resides on same servers.

19). What is the difference between force.com and Salesforce.com?

Force.com is pass(platformas a service) and Salesforce .com is Sass(software as a service)

20). What about Web-to-Lead and Web-to-Case?

A lead or case record created through Web-to-Lead or Web-to-Case will set the record type to that of the default lead owner or automated case user (optional)

21). What is PaaS?

PaaS means” Platform as a Service”. Here in “PaaS “ the cloud service providers provides hardware, OS(operating System), Storage,
Network services over the cloud. It is the way like a rent. If there is no service like Platform and there will be no Applications. Which
applications are build on a Platform.

22). What is SaaS?

SaaS means Software as a Service. Through this Services all the software’s are distributes over the cloud. By using SaaS no need to install any software all software’s are readily available over the internet .

23). What is IaaS?

Full form IaaS is “Infrastructure as a Service”. Here in IaaS the cloud service providers will provides infrastructure like servers,
hosting services and storage. Servers and storage’s are the basic services provide by Cloud Service Providers.
